Can I share my genie plus access to family members?

    Hi Gary,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

Disney Genie+ Service really has become an essential part of my family’s visits to Walt Disney World Resort, especially if we’re travelling during busier times of the year. If I understand your question correctly, you’d like to purchase Disney Genie+ for yourself and then allow other family members to “use” any Lightning Lane entrances you’ve reserved with that Service.

Unfortunately, Disney Genie+ is non-transferrable, which means that the Guest who has it associated to their My Disney Experience account for the day can’t transfer its entitlements to someone else. That said, you’ll absolutely be able to purchase this access for them the morning of their visit to Walt Disney World Resort, if they’re all part of your “My Family & Friends” list and they’ve got a valid Theme Park Reservation for that day. When you click on the “My Disney Genie Day” option on your My Disney Experience Mobile App, you’ll see an option at the top of the page for Genie+, along with that day’s price. Click on that, and then you’ll see the list of people who would be eligible for that service for the day.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Meet the Panelist: Lynne, Quebec

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
