I want to share my family’s tickets to my husband. I tried to scan the tickets on my app by my husband’s app. But it failed. I entered ID number. But it failed too. My ticket’s ID number is 16 digit. How can I share the tickets to him?

    Hiya, Hitomi!

Uh oh! Has Experiment 626 been up to mischief again? I’m sorry you have been experiencing some troubles while linking your theme park tickets to another account. I have some thoughts about how you can proceed. Hopefully, one of these tips can help you out.

    • It sounds like you have already tried the regular route for linking tickets: displaying a ticket from the Tickets and Passes screen of the Disneyland mobile app on one device and using the Link Tickets & Passes feature from the app on another device to scan the ticket barcode using the device camera or manually entering the ticket ID.
    • If you open the “Access your eTickets” link from your ticket purchase confirmation email, you may display or print your eTickets from your computer or device. Scanning the barcode from that view may be worth trying.
    • You can also try linking a ticket to another account using the Disneyland Resort website. Under the “My Disneyland” menu, navigate to “Ticket and Reservation Details,” followed by “Make or Modify Park Reservations,” “Book Theme Park Reservations,” and finally “Link a ticket or Magic Key pass.”
    • The wonderful Cast Members with the Tickets phone line or the online chat service may be another resource to pursue. They can help verify that a ticket is still valid and offer tips and advice on working through technical glitches.
    • If all else fails, I suggest stopping by one of the several Guest Relations locations throughout the theme parks. The Cast Members there may also be able to help sort through technical challenges as well.

I hope that helps you resolve your linking issues, Hitomi. Perhaps then you can hang loose, Stitch-style, and enjoy your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
