    Hi Diana!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is something I enjoy using every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the flexibility and convenience it offers across Walt Disney World Resort - at the theme parks, the Disney Resort hotels and select locations at Disney Springs.  For each night of stay, you will receive 1 Table-Service credit, 1 Quick-Service credit, 2 Snacks and a refillable resort mug, and it is entirely up to each individual Guest how we use our own entitlements, so you can absolutely use your dining plan while you dine with your family who is not using any dining plans, but your dining plan credits may only be used by Guests on the same Resort Reservation as you.  Just speak with your server at the beginning of your meal, and tell them that you will be using the dining plan, and the rest of your family will be paying by another method.   Please ensure that when you make any dining reservations you include the total number of Guests, regardless of who is using the dining plan or not.

Disney Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure, and please remember that Table-Service dining reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and for all the latest official news and updates on events happening during your trip, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog.
