How do I share or assign the Tickets & Passes for the children. This went across for my husband but it looks like you cannot for children <18 is that correct? How can this be done?

Hey there! Hi there, Carli! In just a few days, you'll leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. I'm so happy you stopped by planDisney so we can help you breeze through the gates and jump into the magic at Walt Disney World.

I'm not sure what is happening with your tickets, so let's talk about a few possibilities and see what we can uncover.

You can usually assign tickets to anyone with whom you are connected, regardless of age. Have you created MyDisney accounts for your kids? If not, it is really easy. From "My Family & Friends List," click "+ Add A Guest" in the top right corner of the screen. Scroll to "Create A New Guest." You will be given the option to create a profile for Mouseketeers under 13, 13-17 and 18+. You will automagically manage accounts for youth under 13 years old. For teens between 13 and 17 and adults, you have the option to manage their accounts or invite them to manage their own.

Once created, you should be able to assign unused theme park tickets to them easily. Go to "My Plans," scroll to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets," and select the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab. On the list of tickets assigned to you, you should see "Reassign Ticket" with a drop-down box to the right of any ticket that is eligible. Within the dropdown, you should see everyone connected to you as options for sending tickets.

To access the tickets at the theme park gates, you can buy MagicBands+ and link them to your kids' accounts, stop by Guest Relations and get physical cards, or set up a Disney MagicMobile pass for the accounts you manage on your cell phone.

If this doesn't work to get the tickets transferred to your kids, you may need to call a Cast Member and ask for assistance.

Carli, I hope this helps, and you are quickly ready to immerse yourself in the magic. If you have any other questions, please come see us again at planDisney. You have a friend in us!

    Magic Awaits!
