Aloha Kim, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. February is going to be the practically perfect time to leave the cold New Jersey weather and head to Aulani!
Currently, Aulani doesn’t use the same toiletry products as Disney World. During my last stay, there were shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion pump dispensers with the Koke’e scent from the Malie company. The products are made with organic aloe and have a lovely floral and earthy scent. It’s the little touches like these that make Aulani so special and unique! If you end up loving the toiletries, you can usually buy them at the Laniwai Spa.
Speaking of the
Laniwai Spa, it’s one of my favorite spots at Aulani! Not only are the massages amazing, but full-service spa treatments come with access to the
Kula Wai outdoor hydrotherapy garden. It’s such a relaxing oasis, with shaded lounge chairs, whirlpools, a cold water therapy plunge pool, rain-style showers, and a reflexology path.
As you’re getting ready for your vacation, be sure to download the
Aulani Resort Mobile App and link your reservation. You can use the app to book dining and activity reservations, check in online, and mobile order food. I also like to preview the activity schedule to get an idea of what might be happening while I’m there (the art and culture tours and ukulele lessons are my favorite — just keep in mind that you need to sign up for some activities in advance on the
Pau Hana Room page). Another thing I love about Aulani is all of the opportunities to
meet different characters, including some rarer ones like Angel and ‘Olu Mel! Those meet and greets are typically added to the schedule in the morning of each day (usually between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.).
I’m wishing you the best vacation ever at Aulani next year! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
