I have severe sleep apnea and will need to be distilled water for my machine. Do they sell it in Disney Resorts?

    Hi Cheryl!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help.

I've traveled to Walt Disney World Resort on several occasions with friends and family members that use CPAP machines for sleep apnea. Disney Resort hotels don't typically keep distilled water in stock and available for purchase, so many guests choose to have it delivered directly to their resort hotel room via a grocery delivery service. Gardengrocer.com is an awesome service, and I've used them on numerous occasions! We like to keep bottled water, juice, and snacks/breakfast items in our room, and using Garden Grocer has been an affordable, convenient choice for our family.

When visiting Walt Disney World with my dad a few years ago, he simply chose to use bottled water in his CPAP machine for the few nights that we were in Walt Disney World. His doctor explained that distilled water is recommended because it's mineral-free and won't cause build-up over time. He told him that occasional use of bottled water was fine for his particular machine. (I would encourage checking with your healthcare provider before going this route.) Bottled water can be found in all resort hotel gift shops and restaurants.

I hope this answer is helpful in your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
