Hi, Amy!
Thanks for sailing by with your question. Disney Cruise Line takes great strides to ensure the safety of guests with food allergies, so hopefully I can help you understand how the onboard crew will assist and how to make the best choices possible.
Let's start with the option of bringing your own food. The only food permitted would be pre-packaged, factory sealed non-perishable food items. Nothing that is pre-cooked in containers will be permitted, nor is any type of cooking appliance allowed (hot plates, crockpots). Please read though the list of
Prohibited & Restricted Items (Food and Beverage).
However, the wonderful dining team will really work with you for healthy meals that meet your
dietary requirements. By completing the
Special Services Form prior to your cruise, you can let them know of your restrictions. Once onboard, you will be able to attend the Onboard Dining Session that takes place on embarkation day (time and location will be posted on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App). The wonderful dining staff will be on hand to answer any questions and guide you to dining that meets your requirements.
You may also want to
call Disney Cruise Line directly. They will be happy to make a notation on your reservation regarding your food allergies. Everyone will truly go out of their way to make your dining experience the best they possibly can.
I hope this all works out for you. If you have any other questions or concerns about sailing with Disney Cruise Line, please stop back. Our planDisney team is always happy to help!
Cathy
