Several years ago the Grand Floridian offered a 'Junior Chefs' program for children. They would spend time with a chef and create a meal or dessert to serve to the (often unwary) guests in the hotel lobby. Is this still on or something similar?

    Hi Ann Marie!

Sadly, as of 2008, this activity has been cancelled.  I'm pretty bummed about it, as my boys would have adored it!  A slightly similar program, the Wonderland Tea Party is now being offered at The Grand Floridian.  Your kiddos can sip tea (apple juice) and decorate cupcakes and create a craft.  Just call 1-407-WDW- DINE to book this fun activity.  Bon appetit!

    Much pixie dust,
