    Several friends and I will be running in the Princess Half Marathon in 2011 and we were wondering if Disney does package deals for this event?

    Hi Sheri,

    I'm so excited for you!! A bunch of us on the Disney Mom's Panel recently ran the Princess Half Marathon for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! There is just something special about being among so many women (and a few men) all fulfilling a goal that for many seemed impossible.  Plus, there is entertainment to keep you motivated throughout the race.  Really, I cannot say enough great things about this event, and I'm so thrilled that you are going to participate.

    As far as package deals.  There are usually specially priced theme park tickets and rates at select Disney Resorts.  The resorts with discounted rates are also the ones that provide transportation to the event.  Once registration opens up for the 2011 race, more details will be available concerning travel details.  To get an idea of what you can expect, check out the details for another upcoming race.
