Hi Michelle!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel! I swear, the Disney PIN Code seems to be as elusive to some as tracking the Everest Yeti! I know there are people who seem to receive one all the time, and some that seem to never get one. I can't tell you the rhyme or reason for receiving one, it is part of the "backstage Disney magic" they aren't willing to share (believe me, I'd love to know.) There are however, several theories as to how to increase your chances at receiving them.
First, make sure that you have an account registered on the
Walt Disney World website and that all of your information is current and correct. Guests have also commented that they were sent a PIN code shortly after ordering the
Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD, or browsing the website, pricing vacations, saving offers, etc. The PIN codes typically arrive by mail or email, but you may want to call occasionally and ask if you have a PIN associated with your account just to make sure.
These steps by no means guarantee you will receive one, but have often seemed to help your chances. I wish I could give you a more definitive answer, but unfortunately, how or why they are handed out is truly the great PIN mystery.
Good Luck!
Lauren
