Welcome aboard, Katherine!
I'm thrilled to hear you’ll be soaking up the sun on Castaway Cay during your cruise on the
Disney Fantasy. As a Concierge Guest, having it made in the shade with a private cabana is just about as good as it gets, I say!
I think that a cabana is the absolute best way to combine fun and relaxation while on
Castaway Cay. A private, comfortable space with shade, the ability to rinse off sand with a shower, and a hammock...yes please! I think those are the trifecta of island living done right, especially the hammock after a bountiful lunch at Cookie’s BBQ. Not to mention the creature comforts of having water, soda, and snacks as well as sunscreen and towels included. And of course, with complimentary snorkeling gear rental, tubes, and floats, it’s no wonder that cabanas are so coveted by Guests!
Fortunately, Concierge Guests are the first to get access to booking a Castaway Cay cabana! Once you have your cabana all reserved, the next step is to add your friends to the cabana. Having your
reservations linked will enable this process or you can feel free to
contact Disney Cruise Line and a Cast Member will make that happen. Keep in mind that they cannot be added until their cruise is paid in full and their
advance booking window has arrived. So as Gold Members, the earliest that will be is 105 days prior to sailing. Additionally, all but one of the Family Beach Cabanas on Castaway Cay accommodate a maximum of 10 guests, so make sure that you don't exceed that magic number!
Once you have all the legwork done on the reservation, all that will be left to do is like Olaf sings: “I like to hold on to my dream/Of relaxing in the summer sun, just lettin' off steam.” Wishing you tons of fun in the sun on Castaway Cay!
Bon voyage!
