Hi Paulette,
Welcome to
planDisney! I love that you’re looking into the details for your upcoming trip - are you getting excited? Visiting theme parks with a larger group is so much fun. I always recommend stopping by
Disney PhotoPass Photographers to capture those magical group shots. It’s such a treat when everyone, even the usual photographer in the family, gets to be in the picture!
My family of six just returned from Walt Disney World Resort last week, and we used a variety of ways to enter the theme parks. Some of us had
MagicBand+, some had MagicBands, others used a physical card, and one of us tried a
Disney MagicMobile Pass on a phone.
If you choose not to purchase MagicBands, you've still have options for entering the parks. You can get a physical card by visiting the Will Call kiosk outside of the theme parks (there are several different Characters on each card, so you can request different ones so you can keep them better organized).
Another option is to create a MagicMobile Pass on your phone. If you’d like to give Disney MagicMobile a try on your next visit, it’s easy to set up and share! Here’s how:
1 . Open the
My Disney Experience app and tap the three lines in the bottom-right corner. From there, choose "Set Up MagicMobile Entry".
2. Tap the blue “+” at the top-right, select the Guest you'd wish to create a pass for.
3. Tap Add, and your pass will be populated, and you can choose the style you like. When you're happy with your selection, click "Add to Apple Wallet".
Once you have your new MagicMobile pass, you won't need to worry about losing a physical card. When you arrive at the turnstiles, you'll tap your phone (or Apple Watch if you have one), and you'll be off to discover Magic Kingdom in no time!
I hope this information is helpful to your planning, Paulette. Have fun visiting Walt Disney World Resort and be sure to enjoy all of the Fall decorations on Main Street, U.S.A!
Adventure is out there,
Candace
