Can you setup a payment plan for your Disney Vacation?

    Hi, friend! Welcome to planDisney!

I’ll be honest, Sondra, I have a bit of an addiction to visiting Walt Disney World, and while I’ve become pretty well versed in planning a vacation on a budget, it can still be tricky to pay for all those trips! So, I just love the fact that I can make payments to my vacation package over time. It makes it so much easier for me to be able to budget and afford to take another trip because I can simply chip away at my balance leading up to the vacation rather than having to pay everything all at once! So, Sondra, I’m so pleased to be able to help you do the same for your upcoming visit!

When booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, a $200 deposit is required at the time of booking (though the amount is subject to change). Still, your final payment is not due until 30 days before your arrival, so you can make incremental payments on your vacation in the months leading up to your trip, effectively acting as a payment plan. How great is that?! Plus, making a payment to your vacation really is as easy as can be, thanks to your My Disney Experience account.

Once you have your vacation booked and you’re ready to make a payment, all you’ll need to do is follow these simple steps:

    • First, log into your account, and hover over the My Disney Experience logo on the upper right corner.
    • Then, from the drop-down menu, select "My Plans."
    • Once loaded, you’ll want to scroll down until you see the "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" section and look for the blue link that reads "Make a Payment."
    • Once you click on the link, you can follow the prompts to make your payment, and you are all set!

You can also make your payment over the phone with the help of one of the fabulous Cast Members on the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team by calling (407) 939-1936. They will be more than happy to help you!

Don’t forget that your final payment for your vacation package is due 30 days before your arrival. I recommend setting a reminder on your calendar so you don’t forget to log in and pay off your remaining balance.

I hope I have been helpful to you today, Sondra! I know there is a lot to consider as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so don't forget that your trusty planDisney Panelists are here to help you every step of the way. So, please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions!

    See you real soon!
