Ahoy, Simon!
We’re setting sail on the
Treasure in March too! I’m beyond excited about this ship – Aladdin is my favorite, so I’m really hoping this becomes my new favorite ship. I just know the Treasure’s going to be an absolute treasure of a time!
Now, about your question – I wanted to make sure I was giving you the best and most accurate info, so I had a little help from a few outstanding Cast Members. While the Coravin Wine Preservation System isn’t
listed as a prohibited item, Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to seize and secure any item deemed to be dangerous or pose a security or safety risk. Since the system uses a needle to puncture the cork and has an argon gas capsule, it’s very likely this would be held at the terminal until you disembark the ship. I know that’s not exactly the news you were hoping for, but safety first, right?
However, let’s not let that stop us from focusing on the magic that awaits you on board! The lounges on the Treasure are something I’m really looking forward to, especially the
Haunted Mansion Parlor. But you’ll probably find me at the
Skipper Society lounge at some point too – my pal
Matt will definitely call me out if I don’t spend time there, since
Jungle Cruise is one of his all-time favorites. The Treasure has so many amazing spots to relax and unwind while sipping a drink, so you’re sure to find a place to enjoy yourself.
Just a friendly reminder – guests 21 and older can bring up to
2 bottles of unopened wine or sparkling wine (750 ml or less) or 6 beers (12 oz or less) onboard, both at the start of the voyage and at each port of call. Just remember to pack those in your carry-on bag!
I know you’re going to have a magical time on the Treasure. It’s going to be an adventure full of memories, and I’m sure you’ll make the most of every moment!
Sea ya real soon with pixie dust and ocean breezes,
Dustin
