    Hello, we are setting sail tomorrow for the 5 night Halloween cruise and I couldn't find out anywhere about dress code for the kids costumes. My son is going to be a boy moana and of course he wouldn't wear a shirt, would that be a problem?

    Hi there, Amanda!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I know you are about to head out on the high seas for some SPOOK-tacular fun with Captain Mickey and I am so excited for you and all the fun that awaits you onboard!

    My family always looks forward to the Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party onboard and just last night we were discussing costume ideas for our upcoming Halloween on the High Seas sailing!  I think we finally settled on a family costume idea…and I am keeping my fingers crossed that my boys do not change their mind before we set sail!  Guests are encouraged to dress in costume during themed cruises as well as onboard celebrations such as Pirate Night.  It is only asked that Guests choose costumes that are family friendly, and not obstructive, objectionable, offensive or violent.  Additionally, masks that completely cover one’s face may only be worn when standing at character photo locations and must be carried when moving about the ship.  The Cast Member I spoke with did not indicate that your son’s costume plans may be an issue, but please be advised that there is always a chance that you may be asked to change or modify a costume if onboard Cast Members ask you to do so.

    Have just the best time onboard and at sea…don’t forget to download the Navigator app so that you have a complete schedule of all the Halloween-themed activities at your fingertips!
