We are setting sail next May with two little girls ages 4&5. I am excited about taking advantage of the Oceaneer club. My question is what type of activities do the workers at the club do with the children? Is swimming or scavenger hunts one of them

    Hi Latoya!

My family and I just got back from a 7 night cruise on the Disney Magic.  The Oceaneer Club on the Dream, the Magic, and the Wonder is a fabulous place for young cruisers!  It's generally open from 9 am to midnight, but be sure to check your Personal Navigator once you are onboard.  Children visiting the Oceaneer Club will play games, dance with characters, meet and greet with characters, listen to stories, and enjoy a wide variety of supervised activities.  There is also a nice playground in the club for children to just play on!  There are even computers in the club with child friendly programs on them (and only child friendly programs)!  However, I've never heard of the counselors taking children to the pools.

I recommend visiting the club on the day you first board the ship as they usually have an open house that day.  I stayed with my youngest son while he explored the Oceaneer Club and the Oceaneer Lab and I think that helped him get used to being there faster.

I hope this helps!  Enjoy planning your magical Disney cruise and write back if you have any more questions!
