Hi, Amna!
Welcome aboard
Disney Cruise Line! I just got back from a cruise that made a stop in Nassau and it was such a great Port of Call. I love pulling up to the dock with the aqua blue water welcoming guests to the Bahamas!
It looks like you are interested in the
Baha Beach Waterpark & Beach at Baha Mar (N35). This Port Adventure lasts about 6.5-7 hours and includes a lunch voucher and transportation to and from Baha Mar. You will meet your tour group then proceed to your vehicle for the approximately 20-minute ride to the resort.
You will have a guide who will go over all the details of your exciting day, including your return transportation time to the ship. If you feel this will not provide you with enough time to prepare for the evening's events, let your tour guide know that you will be arranging your own ride back to the
Disney Wish. If you choose to do this, getting a taxi or shuttle would be at your own expense.
My advice is to stick it out with the group and enjoy your beach day at Baha Mar (this resort is huge and has so many fun things to do that you won't want to miss any of the fun!) I would get up a bit early that morning and have everyone's clothes laid out for the evening. Upon your return, with the split bathroom set-up in your stateroom, 2 people can be freshening up at a time which is a real bonus! Hopefully you can make it work to enjoy the entirety of the Port Adventure.
If you enjoy this cruise as much as I think you will, plan ahead for your next vacation with a
Placeholder Reservation. With a $250 refundable deposit, you can reserve your future cruise that you will need to use with 24 months. When booking with your Placeholder Reservation, you will receive a discount of 10% or more on your cruise (based on availability and blockout dates). Placeholder Reservations can be reserved on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
Your cruise is just around the corner so let the countdown to sail away begin! Bon Voyage!
