We are setting sail on the Disney Dream on August 22. This is our 4th Disney Cruise, but our first with our four 4 year olds. What are the can't miss things to experience with the kids?

    Ahoy Jennifer –
How exciting to hear about your upcoming “Dream”y cruise this summer. And let me say, “Welcome Back Castaway Club Members!” We are absolutely certain that your pirate crew will have a marvelous time on the Dream, especially with your 4-year-old sea pups. My crew just got back from our trip on the Dream last month and there is so much there for everyone! My first suggestion is that while you wait in the cruise terminal for your boarding group to be called, that you read over the Personal Navigator Newsletter and download the Navigator App to your Apple or Android device. On embarkation day, you will have the opportunity to get tickets for special character meet and greets that will be open to a limited number of guests. On my cruise last month there was a ticketed event for the Princess Gathering and a chance to meet Anna & Elsa from Frozen. Your Navigator will tell you when and where to get those coveted tickets on embarkation day. I also suggest on embarkation day that you take advantage of the Open House in the Oceaneer Club to acclimate your 4-year-old pirates to the club and to play together as a family! My crew had a blast piloting the Millennium Falcon, posing with R2D2 for pictures and playing video games in the Infinity Playroom. We had a sweet treat at Vanellope's Sweets & Treats which offers ice cream, candies, and even Mickey Mouse caramel apples for a nominal fee. Every 4-year-old enjoys Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where princesses are made and pirates are born at the Pirates League. Basking in the sun at Mickey’s Pool and Slide is great, and if your sea pups are 42 inches tall, they can ride the AquaDuck with a pirate parent. And finally, don’t forget the amazing Disney Junior dance parties, character dance parties and fun deck parties happening all cruise long! Jennifer there are many fun things your little pirates can do, and we hope here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel that you all have a fabulous vacation.
