Hi there, Nicole! Sailing on your first Disney Cruise Line will definitely unlock a core memory. I hope you and your family are getting excited since your sailing is just around the river bend.
Luggage tags usually get mailed to the household address on your reservation after your stateroom is assigned. If by chance you do not receive the tags in the mail before you leave for your cruise, Hakuna Matata! No worries! The porters at the cruise terminal will have extra luggage tags for you. You will need to provide your stateroom to add to the luggage tag.
All checked luggage will need a luggage tag, but your carry-on bag does not. You will keep that with you until your stateroom is ready on the afternoon of embarkation day. I like to bring a roller bag onto the ship with me as my carry-on so I won't get tired carrying my bag around to lunch and then hanging out until my stateroom is ready. Keep your
citizenship documentation and other essential items in your carry-on bag. I keep medication, sunscreen, and a water bottle with me in my carry-on. Here is a great
packing list that I hope helps with your final preparations.
Nicole, I hope you have an amazing vacation on Disney Cruise Line. If you have any other questions, you can sail back to
planDisney anytime.
Happy Sailing!
