    We'll be setting sail in April on the Fantasy and I'm wondering if that ship is using the new Oceaneer Bands or still using the older Mickey Bands? Thanks!

    Hi Brian!

    Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. Your magical voyage is coming up very soon - how exciting!  The new Oceaneer Bands on the Disney Magic have been a great addition to the Youth Clubs and Activities spaces. Similarly, the Magic Bands at Walt Disney World have been a hit and I've seen a few folks starting their own collection already!  At this time though, the new Oceaneer Bands have not arrived at the other ships. Since the roll out on the re-imagined Disney Magic last October 2013, it continuous to go through testing and tweaks. All this preparation is needed to make sure that a smooth transition happens when it finally gets rolled out to the Youth Clubs on the other 3 ships. No date as of yet, on when we can see these cute yellow Disney Cruise branded bands on our kids on the Disney Fantasy. it is being received well, so I'm sure it will be arriving soon...
