Hi. We're setting sail to Alaska in a few weeks. As this is our first time with Disney Cruise Line, I'm not sure what to expect for the kids. We've thought about bringing their favorite Disney dress up outfits, but was unsure if this was "right.&qu

    Hi, Darlene!

That's fantastic that your Alaskan cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder is your first -- you're going to wonder why you've never sailed before now!

Absolutely...pack the Disney dress-up outfits for the little ones!  Girls dressed as their favorite princess look particularly glamorous against the opulent backdrops on board, and there's nothing more special than seeing the little ones dressed as the characters they visit with on board. Plus, there's a character breakfast one morning which would lend itself to a fun dress up experience!

My entire crew is sailing this itinerary this summer, but I have to tell you that I'm struggling with keeping the packing minimal. Between trying to prepare for the unpredictable weather and wanting to dress nicely at dinner each evening, I fear that we're going to look like we're moving to Alaska!  I hope your packing goes smoothly and let me know if i can help any more.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
