Hiya, Theresa! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
It looks like your heart is wishing for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation very shortly! I can't say that I blame you. There are so many ways to make magical memories at Walt Disney World, from
dining with your favorite characters to experiencing the thrill of a lifetime on rides like
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and
Space Mountain! But first.. you have to plan!
You are on the right track to getting your adventure on the books. Choosing a
Disney Resort Hotel is a great place to start! To
check resort hotel availability during the dates you prefer to visit, simply input your travel dates and select "Find Resorts." A list will emerge with all of the resort hotel options available during those days. You can take your time scanning through each one to find the perfect accommodation for you or filter the results by price range, resort category, resort location or resort characteristics. Each Disney Resort Hotel has its own unique theming and intended experience, so you're bound to find something that suits your family.
Once you settle on the right accommodation for your vacation, you can book the reservation online or by
calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, where a Cast Member will assist you in completing the reservation. With either booking method, you'll have the option to turn your room reservation into a vacation package, which will include tickets for all Guests on the reservation for the number of days you choose. If it is your first time booking a Walt Disney World vacation, it can be helpful to do this over the phone as the Cast Member on the other end can present you with options and guide you through the process. If you'd like to book these portions of your stay separately, you can call the number for New Tickets, or ask to be transferred once your resort hotel is booked.
Once your room and tickets are booked, you'll want to make park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass Reservation System. For each Guest in your party, you'll reserve one park for each day you plan to spend exploring the theme parks. If you chose to add the Park Hopper Option to your tickets, you are only required to make a reservation for the first park you will visit each day.
Theresa, there are many components of Walt Disney World vacation, but this will give you a good head start on planning! This group of panelists here at

Ta ta for now,
