Hi Georgina,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with a question about theme park entry. With more than one child linked to your account, it’s a great idea to know exactly how everything works before you arrive. My four daughters are all linked to my account, and we just returned from a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so I’m happy to share what worked for us. Let’s take a peek!
At Walt Disney World, each Guest needs their own ticket media - this could be a Disney band (known as a MagicBand in the U.S.A.), a Key to the World card, or a Disney MagicMobile pass on your phone. On our trip, two of my girls wore Disney bands, but the other two did not. Since we took advantage of the 2025 Water Park Benefit for Disney Resort hotel Guests, we stopped by the ticket booth at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. A friendly Cast Member reviewed the tickets in my account and provided each of my girls with their own plastic card (each had a different Character on it so they didn't get mixed up). From there, it was as simple as tapping their card at the entrance touch point and scanning their finger - easy peasy!
If you prefer managing all of the tickets digitally, you can create a MagicMobile pass for each child and scan them in one at a time. Here's how:
- Open the My Disney Experience app and make sure you're logged in.
- Click on the menu icon (≡) at the bottom right, scroll down and select "Set Up MagicMobile Entry".
- Tap the "+". You'll see a list of all the people whose tickets you manage. Select your children (and yourself). You can pick a different design for each person.
- Add Passes to your wallet. On iPhone, click "Add to Apple Wallet" and on Android, select "Add to Google Wallet".
When you arrive at the park, open your phone's Wallet app and have the first child’s pass ready. I had my daughters line up in the same order as the passes for quick and smooth entry. Tap your phone, wait for the green light, have your child scan their finger, then swipe to the next pass and repeat. Before you know it, your whole party will be inside the park and ready for the magic to begin!
I hope this information helps you get organized for your first day at the theme parks, Georgina. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out - I'm happy to assist!
Happy planning,
Candace
