Is there any way to set a spending limit on a magic band? Either to cap it at a flat amount or set a daily limit on it? I want to be able to set a spending limit on my daughters magic band.

    Hi John!

As my pal Goofy would say, "Gawrsh! Your vacation is just around the corner."  You must be so excited to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort so soon. Hooray!

You will be happy to know that, at check-in, you will be able to set up your daughters MagicBand with purchasing power and set a limit to her spending.  We did this for my eldest on our last trip and he loved feeling a bit more mature and responsible.  You are also able to set up a unique PIN number for just her MagicBand so that she can come up with something she will be sure to remember.

Well shucks, John!  Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and if there are any last moment items I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask,  Take care and have a spectacular Disney vacation.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
