Hi ya, Lynn!
Welcome to planDisney! I know that having your own magic carpet can make a day in the theme parks a lot more magical, I would be happy to summon up the details on securing one. Let's make some magic!
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) and wheelchairs can be rented just outside of the parks to the east of the Disneyland Park main entrance. Rentals cannot be reserved in advance, so it's best to plan a little extra time in the morning to make sure you can stop and get your scooter with plenty of time. Rentals are welcome to be used in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park for the day!
In addition to having a scooter to help with mobility, you should also check out the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities webpage. You'll be able to find details on what attractions require guests to transfer from their ECV to ride and what attractions guests can experience right from their scooter or wheelchair. It's really helpful to be familiar with that information before you go to the parks!
There are also two amazing guides available online that include mobility information for guests:
I hope you're able to enjoy your stroll or roll through the parks, Lynn! One last thought...did you know that the
"Magic Happens" Parade is back at Disneyland Park? It's one of my favorites, I hope you can take a few minutes to enjoy it during your visit!
Keep moving forward!
