We set sail in May 2026 on the Destiny. I want to try Palo. Would you recommend brunch or dinner?

Welcome back to planDisney, Raina! It's lovely to have you visit us again.

I'm so excited to chat with you about my favorite restaurant, Palo! I honestly dream about Palo so I'm not joking about being excited. For your sailing on the Disney Destiny, you'll have the opportunity to book dining reservations at Palo Steakhouse. Palo Steakhouse has everything I love about Palo, plus an incredible selection of steaks on the menu.

I absolutely LOVE both dinner and brunch at Palo and try to book reservations for both every time I sail. If I could only pick one option, I would choose brunch. The succulent parmesan-crusted chicken breast and luxuriously rich lasagna bolognese are my favorite dishes to enjoy on Disney Cruise Line. There is an almond croissant that makes me want to dance when I eat it, and the flatbread pizza with goat cheese has my heart. I'm a huge fan of the menu!

I also love that when I book a brunch reservation, I can still look forward to dinner with my kids at whichever restaurant is scheduled for our dining rotation that evening. The Disney Destiny is debuting Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, and I can't wait to enjoy the musical performances and the themed menu.

Now, with that being said, dinner might be the best option for you if you are a steak connoisseur. Dinner is also the only time that you can enjoy the well-loved chocolate soufflé for dessert. If you book a dinner reservation and then find out (once you're on the ship) that it will conflict with a night that you have a restaurant scheduled that you don't want to miss, please speak with a Crew Member at Palo to see if they can make an adjustment for you.

Palo Steakhouse is incredibly popular, so I recommend that you make a reservation as soon as your onboard activity booking window opens. If you find that Palo Steakhouse is all booked up, you'll likely be able to snag a reservation once you are on the ship. Shortly after boarding, check to see if there is a time listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to meet in person to make dining changes. If you don't see anything listed, please inquire at Guest Services. I just really want you to be able to enjoy Palo Steakhouse

Have an incredible sailing (and a magical meal)!
