When set sail on the Fantasy on November 4th, 2023. Most of the U.S. will set their clocks back 1 hour that night as Daylight Saving Time ends. Will we need to change our clocks onboard the ship?

Hello and welcome back to planDisney, Branda! We appreciate you returning to us with your Disney Cruise Line questions.

How wonderful that your autumn plans include a 7-night voyage aboard the Disney Fantasy. Are you counting down the days yet? I know I would be! I’ve sailed across multiple time zones and during daylight savings, and each time, there have been shipboard announcements and reminders on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app about the time change.

I promise you won’t miss any of the fun during your day at sea. One of the things I love to do on a sea day is enjoy a movie and some fresh buttery popcorn in the Buena Vista Theatre. It looks like your cruise is planning to show several popular new releases and a few fan favorites:

       • “Haunted Mansion”
       • “Elemental”
       • “The Little Mermaid” (Live Action)
       • “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”
       • “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania”
       • “Avatar: The Way of Water”
       • “Encanto”
       • “Strange World”

And making a premiere at sea is “The Marvels” on November 10. Keep in mind that entertainment is always subject to change. I hope you’re among the first to see this new release. You can check movie showtimes on the app and favorite the films you want to see. About 15 minutes before showtime, you’ll get a reminder in the app that the movie is about to begin.

I hope your cruise is full of picture-perfect moments. Please revisit us again if we can help with anything else.

    SEAS the adventure!
