    Hello! We are set to sail on the Disney Dream to Nassau/Castaway Cay on July 17th. My question is this, on Castaway Cay, we would like to do some beginning snorkling along the Discovery Trail. Do we need to book this or is it first-come, first-served?

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your cruise is just weeks away! Eeee!! Are your suitcases out, yet? I bet your family is just buzzing with excitement and anticipation for your voyage to paradise aboard the Disney Dream. You'll be sailing to one of my favorite places on Earth: Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! The crystal-clear Bahamian water, swaying palm trees and perfect sand beaches make Castaway Cay nothing less than paradise. I never want to leave!

    I love that you're interested in trying snorkeling while visiting the island! I mean it when I say Castaway Cay is the perfect place for beginners and experienced snorkelers to flip their fins and explore the tropical oasis under the sea. I highly recommend booking your Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rentals in advance. This way you'll arrive on the island all set and ready to go! Another option is bringing snorkeling equipment from home onboard with you and bringing it onto the island. Guests are welcome to jump into the Snorkeling Lagoon, with their snorkeling gear from home, without having booked an excursion. Every Guest who snorkels will need a life vest; they are complimentary and available right on Castaway Cay, even if you haven't booked an excursion in advance.
