Hi Amber! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love surprising my kids with trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. I also love coming up with creative ways to surprise them! At this time there aren’t any personalized phone calls or videos that I know of to surprise your daughter with. However I do have some suggestions that I think could be a fun way to tell your daughter she is about to venture on the trip of a lifetime!
I like to make games out of things so my first idea is to put together a scavenger hunt. Hide clues (related to Disney) along the way and have her solve them in order to move on to the next clue. Be creative with this…maybe remind her of a memory of a past visit or hide a clue that relates to her favorite Disney character from when she was a kid. Maybe wrap up a photo of her favorite ride like
Dumbo the Flying Elephant or Space Mountain. Maybe wrap up a picture of
Dole Whip or a Turkey Leg and ask her where she can find these food items. Write out some of the song lyrics to
Be Our Guest and have her fill in the blanks or have her sing them out loud before she moves on to the next clue. Her last clue can lead her to the big reveal!
Another fun idea would be to use her birthday cake as a template. You could do a themed cake (photo of Mickey Mouse on it) or have “Happy Birthday…you’re going to Disney World!” When she sees the cake she might just scream out in delight!
However you choose to do the big reveal have fun with it! I am sure it will be a memory that will last a lifetime! Have a wonderful time and Happy Birthday to your girl!
