Hello, How can I set up a payment plan for a Disney trip for my family for 2027?

Hi there, Millicent. Welcome to planDisney! Around here, we believe what Encanto teaches us: the real magic is family.

And much like the Madrigals discovering their miracle again, the Walt Disney World Resort is entering a beautiful new chapter! Some attractions recently opened, like Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, and others are opening in 2026, like the newly reimagined Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, to name just a few. And then there are the new doors opening a little further down the road, like Piston Peak National Park in Magic Kingdom Park, inspired by the Cars films, and a Tropical Americas-themed land with attractions inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones. Suffice it to say, the next few years will go down in Disney World history, and no matter when you visit, there will be something exciting to discover!

At this time, you can purchase theme park tickets and vacation packages through December 31, 2026. While an on-sale date for 2027 hasn’t been announced yet, bookings for the first part of the year typically open in the spring or early summer of the year before. So you’ll want to follow along with the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements about when these packages will go on sale. You'll likely see something in the spring/early summer of 2026 if past years are any indication. For now, it’s like one of the casita’s doors, waiting for the right moment to open and reveal something magical.

If you purchase a vacation package (a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room and theme park tickets booked together), you will be required to put down a deposit, with the remainder of the payment due 30 days before your arrival date. While there isn’t a payment plan per se, you can log in to your My Disney Experience account and make payments periodically. What I typically do is set a recurring reminder on my phone, and when it pops up, I make my payment, mark it completed, and wait until the next month. I actually like this better because some months I can put more down and some I can’t put as much. This way, the magic isn’t in a set plan. It’s in the flexibility to make it work for you and your family!

Millicent, if you have any other questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Just like in Encanto, when family comes together, the magic really shines. I just know this trip will be amazing!

    The miracle is you,
    Matt
