How do I set up a payment plan

Hi Sabrina, and welcome to planDisney! I always love the chance to chat about Walt Disney World with a fellow Floridian!

Sabrina, there are a few different payment options we could talk about when booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so I'm going to briefly touch on those. If you had a different question, or need more information about a particular situation, please hop on back over to planDisney and ask us another question, okay? All right then, hold on to your hats and glasses, 'cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!

First, since you're a Floridian, you might be asking about the monthly payment plan for Florida Resident Annual Passes. While sales of all new Annual Passes are paused during Walt Disney World's reopening process, you may be able to set up a payment plan for an Annual Pass when they return. In the past, you'd pay a deposit equal to a 1-Day ticket, and then spread the balance over 12 months. The monthly payment plan was available to set up online or in person when you purchased your Annual Pass. We don't know what the Annual Pass Program may look like when sales resume, so keep an eye on the Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go page on the Walt Disney World website for updates.

Next up: Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations! When you reserve a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you pay a deposit at the time of booking, and the balance upon arrival. Then when you check out, any charges you've made to your room account, like dining or merchandise purchases, will be billed to the credit card you have on file unless you specify otherwise. You can review all of your room charges on your My Disney Experience app. It's pretty seamless and helps make your vacation really stress-free!

And lastly, you can book a Disney Vacation Package that includes theme park tickets and a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation. Purchasing a package allows you to pay a deposit and then continue paying the remaining balance over time, usually due 30 days before your arrival.

I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney vacation dollars, Sabrina. If you need more information or have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come by and see us again. We're always here to help!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
