Hey There, Walter!
As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm happy to say "Welcome Home!" to planDisney! Can you believe that you're just a few days away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort?! I bet the excitement and anticipation are really starting to set in now! To make sure that you're ready to settle in once you arrive, let me share a few details about having groceries delivered to your DVC Resort –– that way, you'll be all set to place your order before your visit to the
Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Like you, I really enjoy having all my groceries waiting at the Resort on the day we check-in, so I can get everything set up as soon as my room is ready. And the great news is that you're welcome to schedule your grocery delivery on the day of check-in, even though you might not be able to access your room when the groceries arrive.
Bell Services can accept and store your delivery for you (including refrigerated items) until you're ready to collect them. Once your room is ready, you'll can either swing by Bell Services to pick up your items or have them delivered directly to your room for a small fee. It's easy and convenient –– just the way a great vacation should be!
One thing to keep in mind for your delivery day, though, is that while Bell Services is happy to collect your order from a delivery driver, they can't accept deliveries that contain age-restricted items, like alcohol. If you'll be including these things in your order, you'll need to be present when your delivery arrives to show proof of a valid photo ID. Don't worry, though –– if your room isn't ready, you'll still be able to store your items with Bell Services once you've accepted the delivery for yourself.
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Walter. I'm wishing you a visit to Walt Disney World Resort that's filled with plenty of pixie dust (and in-room snacks) from start to finish!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
