How do I set up Disabled Access for California Adventure?

    Hi there, Joan,

My family has felt so blessed to be able to utilize the Disability Access Service during our visits to the Disneyland Resort. Disability Access Service (DAS) is meant for Guests who are unable to tolerate a traditional queue due to a disability and is one of the many ways that the Disneyland Resort provides accommodations for Guests with disabilities. Guests registered with DAS use the Disneyland mobile app to book a return time for up to one attraction at a time based on the estimated standby wait time for that attraction. Then, instead of waiting that amount of time in the standby queue, Guests can wait somewhere more comfortable. Any time after the booked return time, the Guest with DAS and their designated party can return to the attraction to experience it with only a minimal wait time.

There are two ways to register for Disability Access Service at the Disneyland Resort. The most common way is to visit a Guest Relations location. Any location throughout the two theme parks will do. There, a Cast Member will meet with the Guest requesting services. Depending on the individual circumstances and needs of the Guest, the Cast Member will either register them and their party (up to six Guests total) or they will point out alternate accommodations available to suit their needs. The other way to register for DAS is by pre-registering through video chat. This method is similar to the in-person interview but is done between two and 30 days before arrival.

Pre-registration for DAS is available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific time. From a device or computer with an available camera, visit the registration page and log in to your Disneyland Resort account. If you are using a mobile device with the Disneyland mobile app installed, you will need to log out of your account on the app as well. From the registration page, click on the Terms & Conditions link. After agreeing to the terms, click the Request Live Chat button from the registration page to join the queue for the next available Cast Member. When it is your turn, the Cast Member will work with you to initiate the video chat and proceed with the interview and registration process.

During the Disney100 celebration, there’s a lot of magic happening at the Disneyland Resort. I hope you and your party have a magical time, Joan.
