Hi we are set to cruise on Dec 11 I have an 18 month old I was just wondering if I need to bring her Car seat with us a board the ship for port excursions?

    Hi Chantelle,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I hope you're packed and have documents in hand - because your cruise is right around the corner!  Unfortunately, it has been my experience than many of the foreign ports do not have the same motor vehicle standards and child restraint regulations that we are accustomed to.  Due to this, it can often times be hard to find transportation with appropriate seat belts for restraining a car seat.  So you are certainly welcome to bring your seat - but be aware that you may not be able to properly use it.  If you already have your port adventure booked - you should contact DCL or the excursion operator to discuss your options.

    Have a great time!
