Hello, Pamela! Thanks for bringing your planning question to planDisney. We're glad you stopped by! You'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort in about a week, so let's get you an answer!
First, I highly recommend visiting the Disneyland Resort website's
Guest with Disabilities page. This has a lot of great information regarding a visit to the
Disneyland Resort if you or anyone in your party has any special needs or accessibility concerns.
To register for
Disability Access Service (DAS), you must chat with a Cast Member via
live video call or in person once you arrive at the resort. You can
request a live chat via the Disneyland Website. If you decide to register in person, you will need to visit the Accessibility Services Kiosk on the east side of the Esplanade by
Disney California Adventure Park. Whether via video or in person, the Cast Member will determine eligibility and provide relevant resources for your visit. You may visit the kiosk beginning one hour before the theme parks open and up until two hours before the theme parks close. I hope this helps, Pamela!
Please check out the
Disney Parks Blog for all the exciting events happening at the resort during your stay. My favorite thing is to check out all of the
seasonal and special event snacks to try during my visit. The Disneyland Resort has some of the best sweet treats anywhere, and I'm always on the hunt for a new favorite!
Thanks again for stopping by! We'll see ya real soon!
