I know that
MagicBand+ devices can seem tricky at times, but I promise they are very easy to use once you get through the initial linking steps! To link your MagicBand+, you'll first need to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app and log in to your Disney account. Then, head to the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen and scroll down until you come across MagicBands & Cards. Click on it.
Once here, you'll see the option to Link Your MagicBand or Card, and then the app will make you choose between linking it with your camera, by tapping your band to your smartphone, or by typing the band's ID manually. You can choose either one, but I always type the IDs myself! If you choose to do so as well, click on Type ID and type the ID number on the back of your new MagicBand+ in the box under Admission Media. I suggest double-checking the ID before clicking on Link Media!
Elizabeth, that's pretty much all you need to do to set up your MagicBand+ before your magical
Walt Disney World vacation. Once it's linked to you, it will house your theme park tickets and Lightning Lane passes, and you'll be able to use it to
unlock your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room door, charge purchases to your room, and link
PhotoPass photos. It really is just like magic!
