    We are set to arrive on June 8 & I've just added my father-in-law to our reservations. We already have our magicbands that were mailed to us (3). Will his be at the check in desk when we arrive since it cannot be mailed now with a week to go until arri

    Hi Heather,

    Hey there fellow Missourian!  Congratulations on your upcoming vacation, you have less than a week until the Magic begins! 

    You are correct, your Father-in-law's MagicBand will be waiting for him at your Disney Resort hotel.  If you are able to customize his MagicBand in My Disney Experience within 5 days prior to arrival then he will have a customized MagicBand waiting.  Otherwise, no worries, an iconic gray MagicBand will be waiting for him at your Disney Resort hotel.  Here is a link that explains more fully about Customizing MagicBands. 

    This year I had some last minute travel changes and was able to fly to Walt Disney World a day earlier than originally planned (Woo Hoo!).  A good friend of mine was vacationing during the same time and I was added to her existing room reservation for my extra night and I received a gray MagicBand upon arrival even though I had only been added to the reservation the day prior.
