We are set to arrive at the Art of Animation shortly and interested in possibly renting a bike to ride. We have a 3yr old and there are four adults. Is it possible for us all to ride together? Can we do this at Art of Animation? Thanks

    Hi Kevin!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Unfortunately, Disney hasn't announced bicycles being available at the new Art of Animation Resort.  However, that resort is still under construction so that might change in the future.  However, there are several other places to rent bicycles at within Walt Disney World.  You can get more information on renting bicycles here.

The largest bicycle is a four seat surrey.  A lot of guests enjoy renting one of those at the Boardwalk Inn and riding around Crescent Lake.  However, I personally prefer renting a bicycle at the Wilderness Lodge or at Fort Wilderness and then riding on the path between those two resorts.  It is not as difficult as the path around Crescent Lake (because there is a fairly good size hill on the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin side of the lake) and it is more scenic.

To get to the Boardwalk from the Art of Animation Resort, you can take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Then before going into the park, just catch the boat to Epcot.  It will stop at the Boardwalk before getting to Epcot.

To get to Fort Wilderness or the Wilderness Lodge from the Art of Animation Resort, take a bus to the Magic Kingdom.  Then before going into that park, catch a boat to either Fort Wilderness or the Wilderness Lodge.  Boats run about every 20 minutes.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
