Can we set it up in the app under genie pass so both my husband and I can see our kids tickets? Right now, he can only see my tickets (part of his party) and not the kids. I can see all of our tickets.

    Hiya, Kerryann!

Welcome to planDisney! I see that your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth is coming up in just a few days. How exciting! It sounds like your planning is already off to a great start. Your reference to the My Disney Experience mobile app leads me to believe that you have already set up My Disney Experience accounts for members of your travel party. This is a great starting point to give you and your husband the option to view tickets for your children and create Lighting Lane reservations for everyone in your party if you opted for the Genie+ option.

If by chance my assumption is incorrect and accounts for each member of your travel party have not been created, Hakuna Matata! It only takes a few moments to create an account and link your travel plans. One parent will make the accounts for your children, and can then give the other parent access (more on that in a minute).

Now, if you and your husband each have an account, and you created the accounts for your children, there are a few easy peasy tips I can offer so that you can both make plans for your entire family. The first is to share plans with your husband. You can add him through the My Family & Friends List, located on the My Disney Experience drop-down menu on the Walt Disney World website. It is important to note that while the app and website have some similarities; when it comes to linking accounts you will need to use the website. This page will list everyone you are set up to plan with. If you see your husband and children, high five! If not, select the "Add A Guest" option at the bottom of the screen. Follow the prompts to send an invitation to connect to your husband via email and set up accounts for the kiddos in a few moments. To connect with your husband, you will choose "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Reservation", and for the kids choose "I'll Enter Their Name and Age".

Now that you are connected, let's link your kids to your husband. Because you set up the accounts, you choose who they can connect with. Your spouse will need to log into his account and request access. He can do this from his Family & Friends page on the website. The Find through my connected Guests option should show your children. Your husband will select each of them and select done to proceed. You will receive an email with a request to connect the accounts. Click accept and you should be all set!

Your question references both Disney Genie and tickets, so I will briefly note what this will look like in his plans. Your husband will be able to make Lighting Lane selections for anyone with Genie+ and theme park tickets that he is connected to on the day of your park visits. These plans cannot be made before 7 AM ET the day of your visit, so no need to stress if he is trying to add this now and it is not showing as an option. If your husband is hoping to view theme park tickets on the app, he can locate them by tapping the three bars at the bottom of the screen and choosing the Tickets and Passes tile.

I hope that these tips help your entire family get linked and back to planning the best trip ever!
    We'll see ya real soon!
