how do you set up ADR when you are staying off property. I was told that I did not need park tickets in order to book the dining but how does "disney" know when my 180day reservation window is? We have a tripped book for Feb and my 180 days will

    Hi Alicia,

Your question was cut off but I believe I understand what you're asking. You can certainly set Advance Dining Reservations without tickets or a resort hotel reservation. The Disney Dining system will only allow travelers to book reservations within a 180-day window. For instance, if I wanted to dine at California Grill on February 1st, I could call as early as August 5th (exactly 180 days), but no earlier. The benefit for guests staying at a Disney resort hotel is they can then book their entire itinerary of dining reservations (up to 10 days) on that 180-day mark. So if I were traveling February 1st through February 8th, staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, I could book my entire week's worth of dining on August 5th. Guests staying outside of the Disney resort hotels would need to call August 5th, August 6th, August 7th and so on.

I hope this answered your question, Alicia. Please let me know if you need further clarification. You can book online or by calling 407-939-3463.
