Hi Christen! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Disneyland Resort makes accessibility a real priority. To that end, service animals are welcome at most locations throughout Disneyland Resort. A list of locations where service animals are restricted is available on the
Guest Services website. This is also where you can find relief areas identified for the comfort of Guests' service animals.
At Disneyland Resort, service animals are defined as either a dog or miniature horse who is trained to perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. This does not currently include
Emotional Support Animals. The standard for trained service animals is that they remain on a leash or harness at all times and remain under the control of the Guest. Guests must meet that standard when using a service animal at Disneyland Resort. Additionally, when considering stroller use, all Guests must follow the
stroller policy, including size restrictions. Strollers that don't meet requirements can be turned away, so do take the time to do the necessary measurements beforehand. Strollers are also subject to security inspection.
As you're making your plans, I encourage you to get in contact with
Disability Services through their dedicated phone line. A friendly, knowledgeable Cast Member can assist you with any questions you might have.
Your trip is not far away! I hope you have the most magical visit.
Elizabeth
