Hi there, Sheri, and welcome back to planDisney! I’m so thrilled to chat with you about your upcoming trip after the new year, which is right around the corner! When it comes to Disney vacations, I can understand the need for some creature comforts to make yourself feel completely at home. Especially given the somewhat reduced
Park hours since the phased reopening, it will likely mean that you will be able to spend more hours than usual at your
Disney Resort Hotel, if that is where you will be staying! Why not make sure you have everything you need?
My personal recommendation on how to have groceries of all sorts delivered to your Walt Disney World Hotel room is via Instacart. They offer delivery from most area grocery stores and a great amount of communication and customization before, during, and after the shopping process. You can also order these items from a local delivery service such as Orlando Grocery Express or Garden Grocer. Please know that you will be charged $6 for each grocery order delivered to your Disney Resort Hotel room during your vacation by
Bell Services or Luggage Assistance. If you can make arrangements directly with the vendor, grocery pickup in the Resort Lobby is also available at no charge. As an alternative, many of the Resort Hotel gift shops sell bottles of wine, and all of them will of course offer all the amazing Disney snacks your heart desires!
Sheri, I hope that this information helps you as you plan for your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Before you go, check out the
Experience Updates Pages for the latest information on the policies and procedures in place to protect the safety and health of all Guests and Cast Members. Please know that we are here for you during every step of the planning process, so do not hesitate to come back and see us again soon!
Wishing you safe and magical travels,
Clara
