Hi, Morgan!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question about
Disneyland Resort tickets. I’m glad to hear you want to plan a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
It sounds like you’ve heard about the
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket offer for eligible military members and their spouses. These tickets are available to members of the U.S. military with valid ID, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). To purchase, you must be active duty military, a retired veteran (with 20+ years of service), or a 100% permanent and total service-connected disabled veteran.
While your status may not meet the qualifications for this specific ticket offer, there are a couple of other options to help you experience the magic for less. Most on-base ticket offices offer slightly discounted
theme park tickets that you can buy in person before you visit the resort. As a bargain-hunter myself, I like to buy
Disney Gift Cards at Target using my Target RedCard to earn 5% off my total purchase. The gift cards can then be used to pay for park tickets and hotel accommodations or cover the cost of shopping and dining once you arrive at the resort. Select warehouse clubs also offer promotional prices on gift cards, so be sure to check for current deals if you’re a member of one. Also, I recommend that you keep an eye on the
Offers & Discounts page at
disneyland.com for the latest information on all of the resort’s available promotions.
Thank you for your service to our nation, Morgan! I hope this answers your question and that you’re able to plan a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation soon. Please feel free to write back if you have any more questions.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
