Hi Donald,
We are delighted to see you dropping by planDisney with a question!
The great news is that there are wonderful cast members available who can help you plan your trip. You may
contact them directly - start with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. They can help you book a
vacation package that includes the resort hotel, theme park tickets, and one of the
Disney Dining Plans. Although a dining plan is not required, my family has enjoyed using the
Disney Dining Plan on prior trips.
Before calling, I highly recommend that you do some initial investigating of
Disney Resorts Collection hotel options and
theme park ticket possibilities. Check out the amenities of a few different resort hotels to decide which amenities you prefer. For my family, we prefer resorts with multiple
dining and
transportation options. These include resort hotels with access to
Walt Disney World Monorail® Transportation and those with access to the
Disney Skyliner. A few of our favorites include Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, all of which have access to the monorail as well as Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club Resorts, all of which have access to the Disney Skyliner.
With little ones coming with you, I would also suggest
1-Day standard theme park tickets. We typically get 5-day tickets so that we can visit each theme park at least once and have an extra day to visit one of the parks a second time. Although tickets with the Park Hopper® Option are great, it is not always easy to park hop to a different park, especially with tired little ones. Also keep an eye on
Special Offers to make sure you are aware of any possible discounts that might be available for the dates of your visit!
Donald, I hope this helps you get started! Remember that you could also use a travel agency. If you do, I suggest to just make sure you are clear about the services they offer prior to booking. In the meantime, continue the
practically perfect planning. We will see you real soon!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
