In our September visit to WDW we will be eating lunch downtown at T-Rex cafe. We plan on heading to Epcot after lunch and enter through the international gateway. What would be some of the routes we could take from downtown to International gateway ?

    Hi Russell!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

There are several options for travelling between Downtown Disney and Epcot.  There are no direct bus routes between Downtown Disney and any theme park, so you will need to take a bus to one of the resort hotels and transfer to another bus for Epcot.

I would recommend taking a bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn Resort, or Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, and then transfer to a boat which will take you to the International Gateway of Epcot.  This is probably the most direct and quickest route.  Other ways would be to take a boat to Disney's Port Orleans Resort, and then a bus to Epcot, and then walk through the park to World Showcase.  Or take a bus to any other resort, and transfer to an Epcot bus, but again these buses will take you to the front entrance, and you will need to walk through the park to World Showcase.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
