    Hi moms! In September we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, we love animals. Could you please tell me what extra activities can you do during your stay, and if they have any extra cost. Thanks for all your help

    I find Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to be one of the most unique and captivating hotels at Walt Disney World Resort. There are many free experiences offered daily to immerse you in African culture and animal exploration; from Medallion Rubbing to playing African instruments you will find learning opportunities at every turn! On a recent visit, my son enjoyed playing a game by the pool to help him learn how to match wildlife to their vocalizations and another morning we were able to watch a Cast Member feed the flamingos. Keep in mind that some activities, like South African Wine Tasting or special culinary offers, do require reservations and charge a fee. 

    Be sure to check the Resort Recreation Activities Guide upon check-in for the opportunities available during your visit. I am confident that you will want to make time in your schedule to do as many of these offerings as possible. Please visit us again should you have additional questions!
