Hi Crystal, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.
When it comes to fireworks and Disney, I have to say that nobody does it better! Guests are always in for a treat when it comes to pyrotechnic spectaculars at the Walt Disney World Resort. This would include Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show that is a part of
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Unfortunately, only guests who hold tickets to this special event will be allowed to remain in the Magic Kingdom after 6:00 p.m. on that evening.
If you are not planning to attend the party, you still have a few options that will allow you to see the fireworks from outside the Magic Kingdom. If you are looking for one-of-a-kind experiences you can always make a reservation at the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel or even try the
Highway in the Sky Dine Around. Both events will give you an amazing view and you will enjoy a great meal.
If you are looking for a no-cost viewing option, you can always try one of my favorite viewing spots from the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. You can enjoy a Dole Whip here too while you watch. My other favorite spot is the 4th-floor observation deck at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel, just passed all of the shops. Please note this location may not be available at times due to private parties, so check with a Cast Member in advance to make sure the deck will be available to guests. If you are a DVC member you can also view them from the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower. These are a few of my favorite locations but clearly, the best location is from inside the Magic Kingdom as a guest attending the party.
Happy Halloween,
Andrea
