Is September 2014 a good deal? I would like to plan a trip for 2014 for me, my husband, and our daughter who will be 2- possibly 5 other people. Our dates are flexible, though. We want the BEST deal without the heat of summer. First trip to WDW.

    Hello Amanda!

Typically, September is a great time to travel to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.  Most students are back in school and crowds tend to be lighter after Labor Day Weekend.  Keep in mind that weather can be unpredictable in terms of rain.  Historically, rates are lower in September.  However, discounts usually aren't released until a couple of months before travel dates.  You can book your vacation package early and watch the Walt Disney World website for Special Offers.  If a special discount is announced, you can call (407) WDW-STAY and ask to have the discount applied to your existing reservation.

Thanks for visiting us at the DIsney Parks Moms Panel.  Happy planning!

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
