Hi Kaleigh! A September visit sounds like a perfect time to visit for so many reasons! By then, the summer crowds have declined as most schools have reopened. And, you’ll be visiting during the season of
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Your question is a great one, but it will require a little bit of planDisney speculation, as well as looking to the past for a prediction about the future. Let’s start with what we know!
TRON Lightcylce / Run is listed as one of the attractions available for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. That is great news! What hasn’t been shared yet is how Guests will access the attraction during party season. Last year, TRON Lightcycle / Run was available via a
virtual queue during the party. That meant that Guests with regular theme park tickets and party tickets could try to enroll in the virtual queue during regular park hours, but also during the party, resulting in the potential to ride twice. Again, that was last year and it remains to be seen how the attraction can be accessed at the party this year. If the attraction isn’t available via the virtual queue, it’s possible that it could be available with a traditional standby line.
Information should be released very soon regarding how party Guests will be able to access attractions and virtual queues (if they are going to be used for the party this year). I recommend checking the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for updates! Of course, you can also check back with planDisney!
Dreams do come true!
