Brenda,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I am going to be at Walt Disney World on
Disney+ Day as well this year, and I cannot wait to see all the great special events!
I asked around, and they told me that for some of these special access opportunities and other events they may ask guests to show on their smartphone that they are subscribers. This is what it says on the Disney Parks Blog.
Guests may be required to verify that they are a Disney+ subscriber by displaying their logged-in home screen on the Disney+ app via their phone to enter early and to receive special benefits at the parks. Please be sure to download the Disney+ app and sign in prior to arrival. Entertainment is subject to change. So get that App loaded and get ready for some Disney+ Day fun!
BONUS TIPSomething you may not know about on Disney+ is the Disney Parks Sunrise series. The three episodes in this series are hour-long videos of the parks "waking up". No actors, no plots, just the sounds of the park, and a few different camera angles showcasing their beauty before the guests arrive. Three of the four parks have episodes currently, and I cannot wait for them to get
Disney's Hollywood Studios added!
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
Doug
